The first phase of the internship focuses on intense training in order to acquire theoretical knowledge necessary for the job. The second phase enables the participants to gain a valuable hands-on experience in real case software development projects. Every participant has an individual tutor to help out if needed during the entire session.

The applicants are accepted for the following positions:

  • Software Developer (Java)
  • System Analyst
  • QA Specialist

Applications should specify their preferred position and whether they are applying for summer internship or regular employment. After submitting the application and CV, participants without previous software development experience will be given a test task, which is expected to demonstrate their ability to learn new methods/tools/ways at the speed and with the effectiveness required in order to succeed during the internship period. The candidates with previous software development experience can use their previous work as a reference and are not required to do the test assignment. The candidates who successfully pass the test or demonstrate sufficiently good previous references will be invited to join the program. Further personal plans and conditions will be agreed upon during an interview.

The deadline for applications is 31 March, 2010. Applications and questions should be sent to careers@webmedia.ee.
