Java / Java EE Developer (Tallinn- Vacancies 7)

Webmedia is looking for an experienced Java/ Java EE developer in Tallinn

Server application development on Java EE platform, using various libraries (Spring, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Aranea, etc)
Development of web-based user interfaces (Javascript, incl. AJAX libraries, XHTML, CSS)
Data operations in relational databases (SQL, PL/SQL)
Writing and maintenance of build scripts (ANT, Maven)
Source code versioning in SVN repository
Writing automated tests to own code (TestNG, Selenium)
Ensuring transparency of your work in task administration environments (Changelogic, Trac)

Knowledge of Java technologies and experience in Java development
Translation: you have participated in the development process of at least one application, which actually benefitted someone.
Team work and communication skills
Translation: if there is something you don’t understand, you ask. If something does not seem reasonable, you say so.
Ability to produce quality deliverables
Translation: you are proud of the code you commit to the repository.
Ability to learn fast, desire to learn and develop
Translation: every year you read dozens of professional books; you read articles and forums to keep yourself informed of constantly emerging new possibilities.
Initiative and orientation to results
Translation: if you see something that needs fixing, you either fix it or inform others of a potential problem source. If you are asked to do something that doesn’t seem to be in accordance with the client’s requirements, you make it known.
